Tauranga Eye Specialists cover a range of sub-specialty fields in ophthalmology including cataract surgery, refractive surgery, premium IOL’s, glaucoma, vitreoretinal surgery, oculoplastics, paediatric ophthalmology, cornea, strabismus, uveitis, and more; so patients receive continuity of care and multidisciplinary input under one roof.
Referrals are always graded by the Doctor in the first instance, before the patient is contacted. So, if the patient presents with clinical risk, they will be seen with a set timeframe according to their grading or “clinical priority”.
